What Services do Hey Tom offer?
Hey Tom take the hard work out of letting your property on short term accommodation websites. We utilise the power of the sharing economy and short term letting services such as Airbnb and Stayz to give you higher returns on your investment property. We handle all guest bookings, key exchanges, cleaning, minor maintenance and guest communication before during and after each reservation.
Do you work with Hometime?
Yes! In later 2018 we partnered with the company Hometime. All of the Hey Tom staff have stayed on. We are now taking advantage of Hometimes unique technology solutions and have decided to join forces with them after seeing how exceptional their service offering is. How long does it take to get setup?
This depends on how ready your property is for short term letting. If it is already furnished we will be ready to go in a few days once we have inspected your property, taken photos, created the house manual and prepared all consumables for your first guests.
If your property isn't furnished, get in contact with us to discuss the best way to furnish your house for short term letting.
What happens if my property is damaged?
It's important to understand that due to rating systems and guest screening it is highly unlikely that your property will sustain any significant damage. We will look after any minor damage and maintenance.
However accidents still can occur. Although over 60 million people world wide have had safe and enjoyable stays with Airbnb it's best to know your protected. Airbnb offers up to 1 million dollars in property and personal liability coverage. Click here to find out more.
For additional peace of mind we have partnered with Hostrite Insurance who will be able to provide you with the full cover that you need to have complete confidence with hosting.
What areas do you operate in?
We specialise in inner city Sydney suburbs such as Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Redfern, Paddington, Woolloomooloo etc. However we can also manage your property in any beach suburbs, or suburbs which are good for short term letting. Get in contact to find out if your property is eligible.
How do I get started?

Do you provide separate cleaning and key exchange services?
Unfortunately we don't provide these services on their own. We only provide a full management solution for our clients which includes these services.
Do you take on anyone?
No, we are actually quite picky about who we take on as a client. Not all properties are suitable for what we do. We will always be honest if we don't think Hey Tom is right for you. That's why it's best to get in touch first.
Will you manage a room in my house?
No, Hey Tom specialises in managing whole houses and does not manage single rooms.
Can you provide furniture?
Yes! On a case by case basis we can provide our clients with a range of furnishing styles, from ultra trendy large budget spends to tight budgets for those on a shoestring.
How often do I get paid?
We generate a report at the beginning of each month for the previous month. June is paid at the start of July and July at the start of August and so on.
